The price of staying at campsites in Europe doubles for the high season from the 1st July. Unfortunately we can not afford to stay out here for July and August so we decided to go home for this period and catch up with our family (and park on their driveways!).
This site in Guines is only 20 minutes from Calais so is an excellent stop off for the journey home. We planned to stay for a few days to relax but Eurotunnel made the cheapest ticket the next day, so we were off.
An excellent site, but as we stayed only one night there is only one
