This
time we caught the mid-day P&O ferry from Dover to Calias as it
meant I could continue driving to get us down south as quickly as possible.
However, we decided against the option of fuelling me up with caffine
and chocolate and
driving
through
the
night
as I would have turned into the guy in the film The Shinning ("Heeerre's...
Johnny").
So
we arrived at this site after dark
and had to set up in torrential rain. The problem with wearing
shorts
as
a protest against winter is that when it rains and you
have to bend down to put on a wheel clamp, your knees and shorts
stick out from your coat and the water runs down (up) your leg -
it's very moist on the mid range area to say the least.
All
I can say about this site is it's okay for an overnight stop.
