Photos - Spain - Salamanca
After
a lovely breakfast before docking in a rainy Bilbao we decided to abandon
our plan to stay locally and get to the sunny weather as soon as possible.
To
that
end
we traveled
as far as we could in one day and ended up at Salamanca north-west
of Madrid.
The
site was situated behind a hotel and only had overnight stoppers, we
soon found out the reason why. It was freezing. Unfortunately
we had not expected the cold conditions that the high altitude in
central Spain can offer in December.
The
temperature in the morning was minus 5 and our water tank had lumps
of ice floating in it. Forget this, we are off to sea level.

The site
was deserted

and it looked like a prison camp

but we had our little helpers for the washing up

The next morning was freezing, so we left early
