Photos - Spain - Benicassim

As we go north, Spain is definitely improving. This site is situated just outside the village of Benicassim and only a short walk from the beach. The area is great for cycling and the site restaurant served starter, dinner, desert, coffee and a bottle of wine for only 7 Euros.

We booked in to another Camping and Caravan Rally and what a contrast to the one in Albuferia. The stewards actually said the children are welcome! We even played Boules (including James) and went to their dinner evenings. Everyone spoke to the children and we were not treated like aliens who were about to disrupt the fabric of life itself.

At last; settled in again. The awning up and the satellite dish out

From here we took a drive into Valencia. As it was a Sunday there was little traffic but absolutely nowhere to park. I had to enrol the services of a tramp at a Euro to 'look after' the car. We visited the stamp market and the children bought foreign currency notes from the coin market.
