Photos - Spain - Sitges
We
stayed at a site just outside a quaint little town called Sitges; it
was rubbish. We only stopped here as Barcelona was just a short(ish)
bus ride away, never again. Sitges is really nice, Barcelona is fantastic;
Camping Garaffeur is just awful.

Never again. This was the non-Spanish section
The
problem is the Spanish caravaners. Not the ones that have a caravan
and use it as it is designed to be used - i.e. move it once in a while
- no, it is the ones that buy one and put it on a site until
it rots. There are hundreds of them and they all arrive for the
weekend. If being LOUD were an Olympic sport, the Spanish would wipe
the board. Imagine England winning the World Cup, we would be pleased
and would show our gratification by a nice roudy cheer. This is the
Spanish equivalent of conversation, and the children are worse. Then
there
is the music,
imagine your neighbour has a professional disco outfit and puts it
on until
midnight. You may have a quiet word with him; not the Spanish, they
tell him to turn it up!
I
shall not mention the cattle shed toilets, expensive bar and lack of working
swimming pool. Still, Barcelona and Sitges were nice.....

The Gaudi end of the Temple de la Sagrada Familia, Barcelona. Typical
Spanish builders, 124 years since it was started and they are still
working on it!
